HarrerSisters Movie Mix:
One Bloody Mary at brunch, two espressos throughout the day and a shaken 10 minutes counting down on my iPhone timer to review.  Our 9 pages of sci-fi comedy for the NYC Midnight Screenplay Challenge 2010 was delivered with 7 minutes to spare.

Wendy and I made this video to email out to her clients. We wanted it to feel like vintage film of a summer day (as presented in a puppet theater) projected on the wall at a dance club:)

We got the idea while we were at the Boston Flower Expo. We had her Nikon D5000 handy to shoot with and I composited it in After Effects along with some graphics that I made in Illustrator.  I composed the score using Reason, VSL and Digital Performer.  Enjoy!

We’re in full bloom at Revive Hair Studio! I know you’ve probably taken off your winter hat - and you’re a mess. Don’t forget to book early, even if you’re not due for several more weeks. The early bird catches the worm!

HarrerSisters at the Cherry Blossom Festival 2010 - Washington D.C.

The Cherry Blossom represents the transience of life and its delicate nature, but the bloom of this beautiful flower also marks the beginning of Spring.  So here are a few photos of the HarrerSisters celebrating the coming of Spring!

HarrerSisters photoshoot on Valentine’s Day:)

Today’s HarrerSisters photoshoot:)

Saturday’s HarrerSisters photoshoot:)

To add some authentic touches to the Vinyl Coast, I wanted to use actual photos of Provincetown, Massachusetts.  I found a bunch on archive.org and the Library of Congress site, but they were all in black and white and I really wanted vibrant photos that had a yesteryear feel.  Anyway, I colorized some using the color palate that I made for the film (open b/w version in photoshop, create new layers with the “color” blend mode, use the brush tool and paint away:) and wanted to share!

Hilarious…:)

Beauty Bourbon
“The only brand in the world that turns a live horse into a beautiful girl.”
We made this as payment to Greg Poulter for letting us borrow his amazing DIY carnival game, “45 Slide.”  Obviously, it is a bottle of Makers Mark with a custom label:)
